Okay, complete honesty time-
Most couples spend more of their wedding day with their photographer(s) than their partner, and definitely more than any guest. Choosing a photographer for your wedding day is a very personal and important decision- make sure you have a good connection and relationship with the person that is going to document your day AND you love their photos. If you end up not vibing with your photographer, it will likely taint how you feel about your wedding photos for a long time- your photos & the love of your life are the only two guaranteed things from your big day.
A couple of things to think about when you're looking at package options-
- Budget. Start your marriage off on a good financial foot, look at your budget- what makes sense for your day to both of you?
- What are the most important parts of the day to both of you to have documented forever? Everyone has different priorities when it comes to photography, and there's no need to spend money to have me there longer than needed. (Yes, I'm terrible at sales, but documenting your day in the way that's most important to you, is what's most important to me!!) If you have questions about what a timeline might look like, just ask! I'm here to answer any (and all) of your questions!
- Would you like a 2nd photographer? Sometimes it's not necessary, but it never hurts. Having a second set of trusted eyes to make sure we get several angles allows more to be covered and have more time to be creative and will always ensure more candids with your loved ones. A second photographer can be added to the "Wedded Bliss" package if you would like, and all the others have one included- YAY!!
- Is a professional wedding album important to you? When I was young some of my favorite memories were sitting and flipping through photo albums with my mom- it's one of the reasons that I love creating the wedding albums for my couples. The pages to the albums are thick and the book lays flat so you don't have to worry about the seams!! Honestly, these wedding albums are beautiful and definitely worth it if you're interested!! Happy to show you an example if you would like too :)
All of these things are 100% up to you, and don't forget- I'm always here to help or explain in more detail. There is no right/ wrong on your wedding day, every decision is up to you and your partner!!

Having two photographers allows both you and your partner to be photographed all day long and be at different locations to ensure as many moments are photographed as possible.

Having two photographers during this 8 hour timeline allows coverage from different angles and locations as needed.
Usually we can fit in either details & getting ready or your exit, and some times everything!

Wedded Bliss is great for the couple looking to have specific parts of their day photographed and/or has a smaller guest list.
You might not want a first look with your partner and want me to meet you at the ceremony then catch some couples photos and then the party! Or, you prefer couples photos with the LOYL, family/ friend photos and the ceremony, but don't care much about the party- whatever pieces are most important to you- I'm in!

FAQ
How do I book a shoot?
Fill out the contact form on the "contact" page and I will reach out in the next 3 business days! Just a heads up- your session/ wedding date is only locked in once your contract is signed and your invoice is paid. Please let me know if you have any questions about how this works- I'm an open book :)
I see that you primarily have weddings on your website- do you photograph other things?

Can packages be customized?
Yes, absolutely! My #1 priority is that you have the best day possible, sometimes that means making some changes to the packages I have available, that's no problem! Several things can be added or changed!!
How many images will I receive?
The amount of images guaranteed is based on the session type. All images are delivered in an online gallery- every image is delivered in black & white AND color.
Non- wedding sessions-
- Mini Sessions- 20+ images
- Regular Sessions- 100+ images
- Lifestyle Sessions- 200+ images
Weddings-
- 400+ based on your package- check out my "pricing" page for information regarding each package.
Where are you based?
Home base is Spokane, WA in the great PNW, but I definitely travel. I have photographed weddings and other events in the Seattle area, Northern Idaho, New York and Washington DC and I'm looking to expand this :)
What is your turnaround time?
My turnaround time is based on your session type-
- Mini & regular sessions are 2-3 weeks
- Lifestyle sessions are 3-4 weeks
- Weddings are 8-12 weeks
I always try to get photos turned around faster, it is dependent on the season and my business levels. I also do offer a rush fee if you want/ need your photos to be bumped up in line.
What gear do you use?
I use Sony a7rIV cameras, and 6 compatible lenses. I have two that I primarily use and a third backup. It is VERY important to me to be 100% covered if something goes wrong. I have you covered!
How do I know my photos will be safe after the event?
I shoot with 2 memory cards, so every image is documented in two places automatically, just in case one corrupts (I've never had this happen but better safe than sorry). I always keep recorded memory cards on my person, so if something were to happen to my gear at an event, I still have all the images taken. Then, as soon as I get home I automatically back up your files on two different external hard drives and an online backup software. The original memory cards are organized and numbered and put into a fire proof box until the gallery is delivered. I know it's overkill, but I don't mess around with your important moments!
